Andrew Burke BSc (Hons) Osteopathy PG Dip Sport & Coaching Dip Sports Massage GOsC Registration number: 11/7083/F Sports Massage Association Registration number: 272 Currently studying an MSc in Sport & Exercise Medicine in Nottingham, Andy is a qualified and registered Osteopath, BMAS Acupuncturist and Sports Massage Therapist and lectures on the University of Wales Institute Cardiff Sports Massage Diploma. He works on a weekly basis as a consultant Osteopath/Sports Masseur at the UK Athletics High Performance Centre in Lee Valley Stadium and at Brunel University. He has worked with Welsh Badminton and UK Athletics at the 2000, 2004 & 2008 Olympics and the 2002 & 2006 Commonwealth Games as well working at a number of high performance camps. In addition, he works privately with a number of international tri-athletes, footballers, golfers, rugby players and cyclists, as well as members of the general public participating in sport/recreational activities and/or suffering occupational or postural stress related problems. Andy is a former international badminton player and coach who competed, and coached, at European, World and Commonwealth Games. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Sport & Coaching and also competed at Junior County level in tennis, squash and golf. |
